Originally from the estates of the Countess of Pembroke, Braxted Park is the largest walled private estate in the county. The large Queen Anne house, beautifully restored by Sir Allen Clark in the 1950’s, sits majestically at the end of a long sweeping drive. The house is flanked by two large lakes which host a plethora of wild fowl, rare birds and exotic fish.
